Benoit J.P. Flammang is a Managing Director at Middlemark Partners. Mr. Flammang is also the founder and CEO of Beninvest, an investment advisory firm in NY, which he created in 1992. Mr. Flammang’s international alternative investments experience has focused on hedge funds, private equity, and real estate, and he has raised capital in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Japan. In 2007, Mr. Flammang was a partner in the establishment of the merchant bank of the Hinduja Group in NY. He has advised many investors, investment managers and corporations around the world, crossing cultural boundaries. Mr. Flammang was a longtime advisor for Foreign Trade to the Belgian Government, nominated by the King, and the director of the Belgian-American Chamber of Commerce in NY. He also created, published, and distributed in 48 countries the first English buyer’s guide in the world of new prestigious wristwatches, a company which he sold in 2000. In 1988, Mr. Flammang successfully restructured a money-losing R&D/manufacturing telecom company in Raleigh, NC. He began his career at IBM Belgium, where he had 3 consecutive 100% Sales Club qualifications. Mr. Flammang received his B.A. in Applied Economics from ICHEC Management School in Brussels. He is fluent in English, Dutch/Flemish, and French and conversational in German.
