Jeff Lee is a Partner at Middlemark Partners. Previously, Mr. Lee spent eight years with Nikko Asset Management, where he was responsible for establishing the hedge fund of funds and external manager business. He successfully grew the firm’s external manager platform to over $30 billion. Prior to this, Mr. Lee worked for ACAM Advisors, a hedge fund of funds, where he reversed the asset decline by creating portfolios as well as addressing performance and client relationship issues. Previously, Mr. Lee served as a portfolio manager for several equity portfolios with Fahnestocks & Inc. and Nikko Securities International. He was responsible for designing and developing quantitative market neutral strategies, the risk management system, and the trading platform for these portfolios. During the infancy of the derivatives industry, Mr. Lee was one of the pioneers who designed and developed models to price and hedge all exotic derivative structure products for UBS, Morgan Stanley, and Lehman Brothers. Prior to Wall Street, he built supercomputers with IBM and has two patents. Mr. Lee received an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of NYU, a BS in Computer Science from NYU, and a BE in Electrical Engineering from The Cooper Union.
